The Talent Show
B and I have been working on this skit for a few weeks and today was the big day of the talent show at church. She performed it on stage in front of a bunch of strangers and she remembered all the stuff we talked about with out seeming shy or nervous (I think I was more nervous than she was). She remembered stuff like slow down, and use pretty arms instead of scare-crow arms. I am so proud of her and I hope someday she can use her excellent stage presence to benefit her and others.

New school, new year, new busted chin.
First day back to school and note G side pose... yeah, he was a bit embarrassed about the bandage on his chin. He took a spill on the hotel pool deck where Nana and Grandpa P were staying and split it right open. Poor guy.
One of B's more serious moments. That girl has a knack for taking great pictures!

Bored without chaos.
We are kid-less. This is our second day without any children in our home... I don't know what to do with myself. G and B are running a muck in Chicago with their Grammy and G is going to New Jersey with his mom and Step Dad. If W and I had school then we could focus on that but that's gone too. What's a mom to do? My mind says make jewelry, sew, sand that rocking chair, paint the crib, do laundry, shop, read, but by the time I finally pick something I have completely mentally exhausted myself and nothing gets done. I guess I will have to relax against my better judgement and save the chaos for the children.

Happy Birthday G and Introducing Pudding!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY G!!!
G gets a necklace display for her dresser. She's so grown UP!
She's wanted this for a lonnnnnnnnnnnng time. Thank you Grammie.
Today is G's Birthday and B & I have been busy sewing and creating canopy capabilities for G's wannabe American Girl Doll Bed. The Girls wanted AGD beds for Christmas and I felt $200.00 + was a bit too much. Well, we scored 20" antique doll bunk beds at a garage sale for $15.00 just before Christmas and they easily separate with wooden dowels. American Girl can't do that for us. So G has expressed an interest in the American Girl Bedding for Julie the Hippie. Well, again money is a factor so this is our fun version of Julie's canopy hippie bedding with PVC canopy extentions some white paint and fun sassy color's. Eat your heart out Julie. I can't wait to see G's face when she sees it!!!!!
Above belong's to Julie Below belongs to G.

G brought a plastic sword home from his moms this past weekend and the kids have developed their pirating skills. They gear up with belts, hats, bags and head out doors to explore the yard. It's pretty cute except things may have gone a little too far... I left the kids home with W while I went to school and discovered some of the goings-on after bedtime as I walked in the door this evening.
